Maserati has unveiled the new GranCabrio Sport at the Geneva auto show.
The cabriolet variant of Maserati's GranTurismo model now gets its own Sport edition too with the 4.7 liter V8 power plant doling out 331 kW (450 PS / 444 bhp) and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque coupled to a six-speed ZF gearbox with the MC Auto Shift software from the Quattroporte Sport GT model.
For a sportier ride, Maserati has tuned the Skyhook active-suspension system more tightly and added some muscle to the brakes with grooved and drilled dual-cast discs.
The new GranCabrio Sport features a top speed of 285 km/h (177 mph) and comes with a new color offering from Maserati - Rosso Trionfale (triumphant red). Unique stylistic cues include the new black grille, front corner splitters, special side skirts and the black bordered headlights.
The new Maserati GranCabrio Sport will go on sale in the summer.
